What name compatibility actually compares

Numerology turns a name into numbers — every letter carries a value, and the totals are reduced to a single digit. Two people are compared number by number rather than as one verdict, because two people can share an outlook and still approach daily life differently. A date of birth is optional; giving it adds the Life Path, the one number that comes from the date rather than the name.

Reading the score

Each pair of numbers is scored, and those scores combine into an overall figure with a short summary. A high score describes ease — the two naturally read each other — and a low one describes friction, which is information rather than a warning. Most real pairs score well on some numbers and poorly on others, and the breakdown is where the useful part sits: it names which part of a relationship needs the deliberate effort.

The relationship type changes the reading

The same two names mean different things depending on what you are asking about, so the type of relationship is chosen before the reading: Romantic, Friendship, Family, Work or Other. A pairing that is demanding in a romance can be an asset at work, where the same difference in temperament divides the labour instead of creating strain.

Checking with someone without sharing their details

You do not need the other person's birth date to check a match. Instead of asking them for it, you can create a private link and send it. They fill in their own details on their side, and both of you see the result. Birth dates are not shown to the other person, which is usually what makes people willing to try it at all.
